What are we up to now?On January 20th, over 5,000 people turned their back on President Bush at his Inaugural parade.This simple, direct action was taken by people from all walks of life: grade school students and ministers, veterans and artists, union organizers and single mothers, military families and environmental activists.New Mexico, three busloads from Wisconsin, and carloads from Louisiana, to take an action that lasted minutes, but which will reverberate for the next four years.The Wenatchee translator is back on as of late this afternoon.However, the translator in Wenatchee is still off.KLWS, is also off the air.Force Winds Can Do to a Satellite Dish?Until we can get the dish replaced, we are using an Internet feed to get our programming to the transmitter site.We apologize for the inconvenience of the past few days, and we thank you for your patience.Our preferred option is to use an Internet link to get our signal to the transmitter.That would enable us to have the correct program service on KWWS.However, we will need to wait until the current storm makes its way through the region.That will probably take several days.Unfortunately, they discovered that the strong winds of last Friday destroyed the satellite dish, leaving no way to get our signal to the transmitter.At this point, we don't have an estimate as to when KWWS will be back on the air.Power at the transmitter site was apparently restored Sunday evening.We have an engineering team headed to the transmitter site to determine what the problem is.Force Winds Can Do to a Satellite Dish?ADHD
