| Blurt is a musical group founded by poet, saxophonist and puppeteer Ted Milton in 1980 in Stroud, Gloucestershire.Shortly thereafter brother Jake left to be replaced by Paul Wigens, with a short interim on drums by Nic Murcott. The latest drummer in the band is Bob Leith, also on drums in Cardiacs.Ted Milton orates his lyrics in a variety of "voices" that betray his days as a puppeteer. The overall effect is hypnotising, compelling and sometimes even unsettling.Blurt's music is featured on the soundtrack of the german movie "Abendland."Post Punk 01 (2xCD) The Fish Needs A Bike Mute Records Ltd.See Copyrights for details.Sign in to get personalized recommendations.Hours() * 3600 + newCurrentTime.Hours() * 3600 + currentTime.Join Amazon Prime today.See all 6 customer reviews...Buzzword The Lively, Addictive, and Challenging Game that Fuzzes your Memory and Buzzes your Brain!Games)Popular in this category: (What's this?Blurt is a word racing game based on Webster's II Riverside Children's Dictionary.Providing the correct answer to one of Blurt's definitions before any of your opponents do earns you the right to move your piece forward on the board. The first player to return to start after circling the board wins the game.Blurt is sure to be loud and spirited, especially with a larger group. You gotta think fast and Blurt out the answers to all kinds of definitions. You gotta be fast, you gotta be first, and no matter what, you'll have fun! Also includes a junior version for kids ages 7 to 9.Begin to blurt: The nut of an oak tree ACORN!Buzzword The Lively, Addictive, and Challenging Game that Fuzzes your Memory and Buzzes your Brain! No one has tagged this product for Amazon search yet.Why not be the first to suggest a search for which it should appear?See all 349 customer reviews...You'll Get Hooked on BLURT!!Blurt is a very fun and educational game. You and a friend will be given a phrase, Example: The crime of intentionally setting fire to a building (Arson) Whoever blurts out the word first gets to move 1 space on the board.Example: A place where children go to learn (of course, School) So if you want a challenge with words like ripple or injection, stick to the red side. Was this review helpful to you?"Thanks for the valuable feedback you provided to other Amazon. The game teaches differant words and strenghtens their vocabulary. These kids are from 2nd to 5th grade.Sometimes I have to stop the teachers from hogging the game from the kids.Sometimes we have a table with about 30 students around it.We just got blurt as a christmas present. However, the game did not come with a lid for the bos of cards, making it harder to put away. Was this review helpful to you?See all 6 customer reviews..."Blurt" out the answer. We play it 2 times a week! When playing this game we usually burst out in laughter.Blurt is probably one of my favorite games. It is an adult version and childrens version in one box.See all 6 customer reviews...Be the first person to add an article about this item at Amapedia.Shop now for songs and albums at great prices.Size GPS Widescreen editions of TomTom's popular ONE GPS navigators feature a 4.Your comments can help make our site better for everyone. Please note that we are unable to respond directly to all feedback submitted via this form, but we'll ask you to sign in so we can contact you if needed.Track your recent orders. You have no recently viewed items or searches. To utter suddenly and impulsively: blurt a confession. The case is this: you ought to have thought the matter over and taken advice; but no, you go and blurt it all straight out before the officers.War and Peace by Tolstoy, Leo View in contextYou see what an effect your heedless speech has had; you ought to have been more considerate than to blurt out such a cruel piece of slander as that.Pudd'n'head Wilson by Twain, Mark View in contextThe curate and the barber listened with great amusement to the words of the three; but Don Quixote, uneasy lest Sancho should blab and blurt out a whole heap of mischievous stupidities, and touch upon points that might not be altogether to his credit, called to him and made the other two hold their tongues and let him come in.This information should not be considered complete, up to date, and is not intended to be used in place of a visit, consultation, or advice of a legal, medical, or any other professional."Group founded by poet, saxophonist and puppeteer Ted Milton in 1980 in Stroud, Gloucestershire.Eagles was replaced by Chris Vine as guitarist from 1990 to 1994.Blurt at Glastonbury Festival 2004 by Mike Flinn
Few trios, in 'jazz' terms, venture into the "bizarre yet compelling" territory as Blurt.Formed in 1980 it's both heartening and extraordinary that such a twisted trio have survived, and indeed, thrived through twenty years of gigs and as many albums.Milton's squalling sax and rabid poetic swipes, while swaying, grinding guitar slices through the groove.Steve Eagles whose been at Ted's side for the best part of 15 years.Blurt honors the rebellious creativity that fuels Glastonbury.Milton plays with such an instinctive will over his sax that he is never less than fluid, yet his twisted version of Coltrane's sheets of notes has a startlingly pungent sound, and to Milton's credit his harmonic inventiveness actually marks him out alongside Evan Parker et al, as a true innovator in his field.Impossibly intense and yet flippant charm of Blurt carried the night.Everyone I talked to was ignited, warmed over, thrilled, and glowing by the end of the night.Milton's adlibbed extemporaneous poesie, the babblings, the jabbering all have that wonderful quality of finding the muse in the rubble.Mr Milton
is holding his cup to his ear.Ted Milton has been quietly
flooding the dry gullies of pop for
years now, and people have
stopped noticing him Me
included.Ted informed me that Blurt still
exists.And, of
course, " he remarks with perhaps
a soupcon of irony, "that means
that the band is dead."Blurt are continuing happily, I
learn.For those familiar with the
Blurt noise, the band now prefers
the sound of the keyboard to than
of the guitar. Is this single a deliberate
attempt to avoid the style of Blurt?"It was just a
desire to do something like that".Do you think that's likely? The
ending of romantic love via the
intrusion of reality,
disillusionment, disappointment? How many marks do I get for that? Some of his work ends up
in books, some in songs. And I thought the two ...Ted Milton says he's not averse
to wads of money.And
he makes very odd, very
interesting records.Why not treat
