We're Boy Hits Car.Louis and Craig were neighbors in the same condo complex and knew each other since they were wearing diapers.In 1990 Craig told me that we had to form a band.We played parties and had fun and all was going well until our drummer quit to join another band.February of 1993 Boy Hits Car was born.Since we always agreed bands shouldn't have to pay money to express their art we opted not to take that route.Why do what is expected of you?Why let the car hit you?We agreed to stand strong as the boy and hit the car.Going it this way was sometimes tough.We got used to playing for next to no one and in turn, we learned how to play for ourselves, to connect with each other, to feed off each other's energy and give it our all: blood, sweat, and tears (literally).We became stronger as a unit.We did some more short tours over the country and in 1997 we got signed to a very independent record label.We recorded our first album, "My Animal" (released in May 1998).We continued to do what we had always done.Core tour opening for System Of A Down, Incubus, and Mr.Bungle and recently we opened for Papa Roach on a couple of dates, layin' it down to some crazy crowds.And in this moment we are pouring everything we've got into this record to make it the sickest, loveliest, ugliest, prettiest, most beautiful, melodic, heartfelt album coming at ya straight from the depths of our soul.People always ask me, what does Boy Hits Car stand for?My answer is simple: Boy Hits Car believes in living from the heart and following your dream.It doesn't matter what your passion is or what you do, it just matters that you do it with love.Why not be the first to suggest a search for which it should appear?The easiest way to shoot video reviews.Boy Hits Car's major label debut isn't a bad album, but has very noticeable problems.CRegg needs to learn how to play, and then bombards you with heavy riffs the rest of the time.This extreme repetition almost killed the album.If they decide to stray away from this seemingly inevitable end, then they may have the potential to be a good band."Thanks for the valuable feedback you provided to other Amazon.Boy Hits Car, the rebirth of Rage Against The Machine.When I picked up their sampler from a concert for the Deftones and heard it, I was impressed.But when I downloaded a few of the songs on this album, I had to buy the CD.After having done so, I can tell you that I don't regret it.The lead singer (an 12 string acoustic guitarist!Was this review helpful to you?Don't be afraid of something new, pick this CD up.Yeah, you get your standard rock rock fare of heavy guitars, drums, bass, and screaming, but listen a little closer.You'll soon find much more.CD, and it never sounds forced or contrived.It's a very emotional CD.My favorite tracks include The Rebirth, which is totally amazing, I'm a Cloud, Going to India, and Turning Inward.Was this review helpful to you?This album saved my life
