| The group consists of members Eddie B, Gabrielle, Josh, Marya, Ron, Valure, and newest member Shaconda.Their fame mostly came from their television show on BET, Blowin Up: Fatty Koo.Their debut single, "Bounce (Theme Song)," was released in June of 2005, and their debut album, House Of Fatty Koo, was released on July 12, 2005 by Columbia Records.Fatty Koo has since embarked on their First Look tour with, visiting malls and schools across the U.On December 1st 2007, 17 year old Shaconda Golden was joined in the group.The new album from Fatty Koo is set to be out in mid 2008, along with a second Fatty Koo series also starring Shaconda.Members

Last.The five original members of the musical collective Fatty Koo met in Columbus, OH.Eddie B, Gabrielle, Marya, Ron, and Valure were in the city's CAPACITY youth arts program, a program that allowed young urban artists to work with renowned artists and arts administrators.Soon, Sony Music and BET were involved.Sony signed the collective, and BET worked a deal where their climb to stardom would be documented and developed into a television show.The public got to see the five settle on the name Fatty Koo when BET's Blowin' Up: Fatty Koo premiered in April of 2005.Josh added to the band and the group's debut album come together.The album, House of Fatty Koo, was released in June of 2005 as its lead single, "Bounce," was being featured during ABC's coverage of the NBA playoffs.What is your favorite genre of music? |
