What does it take??

Just a direct question what does it take to get people to check out a new band?? a friend telling you, someone from a chat room telling you to see them?? Just wondering what it takes to get some one to check out a music video on my space?? If you have any ideas let can you let me know, thanks

Word of mouth works best for me and unfortunately that's not something you can influence readily...apart from being good which is something too many bands overlook these days.

nah except if it was someone you know really knows their stuff however as recommendations go most are meh (cinder road El pres !!!!)

not really wrd of mouth, rather being played to death on the hits is normally the way

always a good thing to actually put other bands what they sound like in the title, then people who are a fan of that band may check them out for example:

CAPTAIN PHOENIX Pistols & Hearts 5/10
Scots rockers who recall Gun, they fall between erudite upbeat rock & roll and a more vengeful metal, too harsh for the former, too soft for the latter.
