The singer Ruth Ann has now released her debut album “What about us”, which is produced by the successful music producer Michael Cretu (ENIGMA). Some years ago she had a No1 hit in England as the singer of the group OLIVE with the titel "I'm not in Love", before Cretu invited her to sing on different ENIGMA albums.

From the 4th of June on the album can be exclusively downloaded in every iTunes shop worldwide. In following countries "What about us" is available: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, UK, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden and the USA.

I've loved her voice since Enigma's "Gravity of Love," but I'm underwhelmed by this album. All of the songs are mediocre and sound dated, like Enigma/Olive rejects from the mid 90's without the great production. And the cover of "Drive" is unnecessary and uninspiring.

Still, thanks for the recommendation. I don't imagine many people remember or recognize this vocal talent.
