Rapper Kanye West threw a tantrum in front of media after missing out on the five awards he was nominated for.

"That's two years in a row, man... give a black man a chance," West said. "I'm trying hard, man, I have the... number one record, man."

West, who gatecrashed the stage at the MTV Europe Awards after failing to win the prize for best video, said he would never return to MTV.

Just because he's standing up for his work, doesn't make it a tantrum. Tbh, he did deserve that award; ''Stronger'' is awesome. he also knows things like this give him publicity, and considering his album is out this week, i'd say a job well done on that.

I agree.

Stronger is a very good video and if that isn't gonna make him win any awards then what is? So I can kinda see his point.

I think he's overreacted though, and he's made a bit of a t*** of himself because he's thrown a hissy fit but hey, his album's out this week and he'll have got a lot of extra publicity from this so I don't think he'll really be bothered at all.

I think it's ridiculous. Rihanna deserved her wins.

His previous two albums, he deserved all the acclaim he got. Those were f***ing brilliant albums. His latest isn't so good, but I can see where he's coming from. The video for Stronger is quite excellent. Maybe I'm biased becuase I love Akira though.

The video to Stronger is about the best of the year.

It's just a shame the song is about the worst of the year.

In an interview Kanye explained why he had the "hissy fit" and after listening to his side of the story I don't blame him one bit. Plus I'm glad he's boycotting MTV. They stitched him up twice and he didn't say nothing, PLUS they took advantage of Brit, now he's speaking his mind people got a problem with it. Oh well, I for one am glad there is someone who speaks their mind, it makes a change from them fake a*s celebs. Go Kanye!!

without a doubt the biggest ego in the music biz and definately over rated, his rapping style is very similar to p diddle, in parts of stronger you can't tell them apart. kanye may be a good producer but as a performer he is average at best. also his personality stinks, is he going to throw a hissy fit everytime he loses? grow up cry baby and be a man that can handle losing

"Stronger" is weak compared to some of his classics such as Gold Digger & Jesus Walks

But yeh, he's got such a c**p attitude.

Errr he was incredibly rude to Justice last year at the Ema's. He's just sore loser, I cant stand the arrogant brat.
