whole album I already had.Spielberg shit when I did this album.Khrome, the producer of it, came with the beat and that was it.When I got the beat from Khrome, I knew that had to be the intro.From there on, that was it.Other than that, I loved it.Brooklyn, Red Hook Projects.What makes you the Renaissance Child?The whole thing is a rebirth.You still stick to the same style that made you successful though.That was a dedication to the projects and to jazz music.All you need is the rhymes.It was already like a magnetic attraction already.We already vibed to each other.Working with different producers and shit like that, you do get to see how everybody does their shit differently and how some producers are more into the music than the others.Doom was there with the mask.Sunz of Priest have always had great chemistry on tracks dating back to the Sunz of Man days.We just give that type of spark to each other that allows us to make good music.We have more control on Article 2.They know 4th Disciple has a sound and they love it and miss it.Eric B and Rakim, Pete Rock and CL Smooth type of shit.Then I played it for Trag and he was with it.They know how to make mixtapes.My everybody?Stop downloading it and getting copies."Razah's Ladder" is one of those LPs, a blend of ethereal production and vivid lyricism that, although not perfect, leaves you eagerly awaiting (and hoping for) a Round 2.Hell Razah appropriates the notion for himself and complicates the idea by asking, at the end of the track: "What exactly is this ladder?Who exactly is this ladder?"The next track, "The Cube," is a complex piece which has as many sonic layers as a ladder has rungs.Hell Razah tries to match the sound's complexity, but is not quite able to accomplish the daunting task.BSBD and the verses paired with them.This happens on "The Cube" and several other songs, but fortunately Razah's superior flow and breath control prevent him from getting absolutely devoured by the music.Their versatility is exemplified in the difference between a song like "Poor Righteous Dreams," a tune about ascension from the hood, and one like "Stairway to Heaven," a hauntingly melodic tune that complicates that ascension.However, Razah is really the undercard to this event: the preeminence of BSBD is calculated (after all, their name precedes Hell Razah's even on the cover of the
