connected project as it was learned that both DEEP PURPLE guitarist STEVE MORSE and keyboard player JON LORD had ensconced themselves in a Florida studio with none other than established Australian Rock star COLD CHISEL frontman JIMMY BARNES and the erstwhile URIAH HEEP and OZZY OSBOURNE rhythm section of bass player Bob Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake.Crowley', 'I Don't Know' and 'Crazy Train', originally from the 'Blizzard Of Ozz' album and 'Over The Mountain', 'Flying High Again' and 'Tonight' from the 1981 album 'Diary Of A Madman'.Daisley and Kerslake had for many years been in dispute with the Osbournes over songwriting royalties for these two classic albums.Fabled bassist Bob Daisley, of OZZY OSBOURNE, URIAH HEEP, GARY MOORE, BLACK SABBATH and RAINBOW, has told Rockdetector that the...Bob Daisley has been in the music industry for many years now.Playing bass with such greats as OZZY OSBOURNE,...There is not one song on here that seems out of place and the momentum is kept from start to finish. The guitar player also seems to have boosted the project from a sheer musical viewpoint. While Ozzy Osbourne purists might find it hard to accept anyone other than Randy Rhoads playing these parts, Morse has risen to the occasion and recorded an album full of musical twists and turns that leaves one craving more in a Living Loud live format (the group recently played two promotion gigs in Australia). While paying tribute to the sounds of the original albums and the incredible playing style of Rhoads, Morse also lends a new lease of life to these songs and some of the solos may even surpass the original ones.Jimmy Barnes is a well known rock singer from Australia, where he's considered a legend.Having had a long and successful career spanning over two decades, Barnes has a highly identifiable singing style which seems to divide people into two categories. Some of the new songs deserve a special mention.DC style with Barnes railing against the stupidities you are occasionally subjected to in a city like Los Angeles. This one has a strong Stevie Ray Vaughan feel to it, with some very tasty playing from Morse. With lyrics questioning the reasons for going to war, this song is also new territory for Steve. This is included as a bonus track on the album. Background info For those of you who have read Steve Morse's latest road report on stevemorse.Deep Purple, the Dixie Dregs and the Steve Morse Band.Morse is no stranger to hard work in remote locations, but in this case the members of Living Loud literally came to play in his own backyard. The debut album from Living Loud was recorded over 15 days in July 2003 at Greg Rike's Studios in Orlando, FL.Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake were the backbone of Ozzy Osbourne's band in the early 1980s.The same band that recorded heavy metal staples like "Blizzard of Ozz" (1980) and "Diary of a Madman" (1981), which saw Ozzy rise to fame again after having been ousted from Black Sabbath in the late 1970s.The idea was to give it a try and see if there was something to build on.It only took this experienced group of musicians two weeks to complete their debut album.Living Loud on the
