Loleatta Holloway is an african american singer born on November 5, 1946 in Chicago Illinois.She began gospel singing with her mother in the Holloway Community Singers and she has also recorded with Albertina Walker in the Caravans gospel group.That hook was in fact an interpolation of Holloway's own song "Love Sensation" from 1980.Check here for the full story.Loleatta and British dance act Fire Island release 'Shout To The Top' (penned by Paul Weller and originally recorded by the Style Council) on the JBO label, with a mix by Frankie Knuckles.Loleatta Holloway 'Hit And Run' (1977)

Dees' compositions on the LP and became a huge hit in the beginning of 1975.Today it's
regarded a Deep Soul classic.Salsoul's correspondence to M.Besides Loleatta, Baker, Harris and Young wrote, produced and
played behind First Choice and Double Exposure, groups
they had brought to Salsoul's roster and which were some of the label's
best selling acts.They were also closely involved with a number of other artists,
including The Trammps.November of '76, was nowhere near the sophisticated Disco her name is so tightly connected
