Here we have some very raw black metal from Woods of Desolation, yet with an eerie and hypnotic feel to it.Ethereal Woods, though this is much more evil sounding than that band.It also features lone Odium member P Knight on bass and vocals along with Dolor (who lives in Australia), who plays the guitar and drums, so you can expect this to sound sufficiently coarse.Still, this was a good listen.Knight and La Bete plays raw black metal.Strangely though, the style and atmosphere is rather different from Odium and are quite unique and interesting; quickly strummed guitars build up a wall of fuzzy distortion whilst an ominous sounding bass meanders in the background.La Bete do sound a tad more effective than the somewhat chaotic Odium, but this is still minimalist black metal of the most minimal kind.Odium Records, Black Metal, 1998)
Slow Black Metal without any vocal parts you can find on this demo CD.The music is very simple but also very effective.Knight has been listening to his Anubi LP's and taking notes on how to create such warped sounds, yet this is still well and truly black metal, Odium style.This is probably the best Odium release so far.The first thing that you will notice is that this time there are vocal lines, of course screamed.For underground maniacs only!Odium's new material and I'll be honest with you: I was really looking forward to this.Odium are one of the most foul, necro, depraved sounding bands of all time.It seems everything is intended to sound as horrible is possible, but somehow it all works.Those who don't run screaming after the first note will love it.We wrap up our live coverage of CES 2008!While it may seem overly familiar to fans of Caesar III, it offers enough variety and innovation to keep things interesting.While this game may look cute, it is in fact as sophisticated and enjoyable as the very best strategy games out there.Welcome Unregistered UserYou have voted for 0 Games!This Game has been Rated "M" for Mature."See a map of synonyms of odium in the Visual Thesaurus." |
