finally gave in to lessons and their house was never quiet again.While developing as a performer he began songwriting.Ross played in a band but the guys wouldn't let him
sing or write songs so he took a songwriting class at college and
wrote 'Fly Away.After college, he did an internship at a New York jingle house, where
he wrote advertising jingles to order.Ross may be the only one.But it was a start, and, newly
confident, he began entering competitions.Best Unsigned Artist in the
Freshtracks.It got his chops up, and he was travelling all over the country.Now relocated and living in London , Ross has toured up and down the
country for the past 12 months making a name for himself.Now with an album and 2 singles released in UK under his belt and a
handful of some of the most intimate and special gigs played, Ross has
now gone back home to America to push his album release over there and

Ross Copperman was born and grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, where his was one of few Jewish families.The first song he wrote is titled "Fly Away", and it appears on his studio debut album.He says that it was only after the urging of his teacher (who had listened to this song) that he was convinced to take up music professionally.Copperman cites his musical influences as Muse, Radiohead, Oasis, Travis, and Led Zeppelin, noticeably all British musical acts.The third single, Found You, was released a few months later.His debut album, Welcome to Reality, was released on May 28, 2007.The song They'll Never Know from Welcome to Reality was used in the episode All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone, the season 4 finale of the CW TV show One Tree Hill.Aired June 13, 2007)
The song I Don't Wanna Let You Go from Welcome to Reality was used in the episode Don't Try This at Home on the TV series Ghost Whisperer.External links
