three CDs made me clear about the music of Royal Hunt and I tried to explore all albums of Royal Hunt.All ingredients that exist in this album
would later become major components of their composition.Royal Hunt's key strengths are in touchy melody and harmonies.If I
look at composition based on melody, arrangements, harmonies and structural integrity, this album fulfills all with good

Wild" gives acoustic guitar fills a chance to contribute at the opening part combined with keyboard and vocal harmonies.Overall, I can say that this is a very
good debut album that all Royal Hunt fans should own.ROYAL HUNT are a metal band from Denmark who on this release have American, D.Metal vein,very orchestral sounding.And i think that is their charm actually."Last Goodbye" is very orchestral sounding as most of the songs are.The song quickly accellerates as vocals come in.Cooper is in fine form hitting those high notes."Makin' A Mess" is an uptempo tune with some prominant drumming.This is another catchy tune with backing vocals, and again very orchestral sounding."Step By Step" is a saucey song with guitar that almost speaks."Autograph" is the only instrumental.This has some fantastic guitar to open, and it soars after 2 minutes as he follows it up with a nice solo.Some incredible guitar before 3 minutes.It helps having such a great vocalist of course.Studio Album, 1993)

Avg: 3.Royal Hunt has been around for some time, but personally I hadn't come across these
guys before this album landed in my hands.Symphony X and the earliest Yngwie Malmsteen releases.But the album does sound good, despite of that.Royal Hunt made more songs like that in the future. |
