here.All of the songs have a sort of longing and melancholy to them that Sarah is known for.The melodies of the songs chosen also reflect this sort of sad quality that fits Sarah's voice so well.The production by her longtime producer Pierre Marchand is a bit experimental, heavy, and very reminiscent of Sarah's original material, so it still feels very "Sarah".Christmas spirit way earlier than some strings and guitar and Sarah.The only weak note is the Happy Xmas(war is over), which tries too hard to be the original.This is an album that I can play every morning at work and never get tired of.Sarah McLachlan's voice has never sounded as dreamy as on this compilation, infused with delicate winter melodies of comforting warmth."River" is filled with romantic longing and desires for simpler times...""In a Bleak Mid Winter" has acoustic elements and lyrics setting a modern yet romantic mood.The final track is breathless and compliments all the elements of this album as the mood is
