was the setting for the second day in Italy.Next was Padova and for the last Italian show it was great!First on the list was Althofen and club Endorphin turned out to be a really small bar with a tiny stage in the corner.After the show we took our place in the bar next to the venue and after Vaders show the whole tour entourage joined the party!Severe Torture currently on tour with Vader and God Dethroned have been keeping a diary whilst out on the road.After hooking up with Vader, God Dethroned and crew we picked our bunks in the nightliner.Getting in the ' Tourmode' took a couple of days but now everything is the way it's supposed to be.The turnout so far has been great and the fans have been really kicking ass at all of the shows we've done so far.We played a tight show with a lot of crazy fans and after the show it was partytime with Jupiler, Chimay and belgian weed!The club provides us with enough showers, a fitnessroom and enough backstage space and that's very much appreciated after yesterdays club.Next is Lausanne(CH), big venue, good catering and a huge stage.So it was good to see nothing had changed and the crowd was sick as ever that night!Rennes already proved to be a highlight on this tour.No PA, no lights, no backstage...The Hard Club must probably be one of the most beautiful clubs around with a breathtaking view over Porto.Luckily we got the chance to check out the beautiful city and all that it has to offer.To top it off, we played to an incredible crowd that night and it was a special experience for us as well as for Vader and God Dethroned.Again, the spanish crowd showed that they must be the craziest motherfuckers on the planet.We arrived a couple hours too early at Mephisto club so we had some time to go to the beach and relax a bit.The show went very well and after that we took a hotel to sleap in a normal bed and take some good showers.Next day we had the day off in Barcelona and we took the oppertunity to do some tourist stuff and enjoy this city a bit.SEVERE TORTURE'S guitar master, Marvin Vriesde, has been added to the Jackson Guitar roster!Severe Torture is proud to announce that guitar player Marvin Vriesde has officially SEVERE TORTURE are now ready to unleash their devastating new record 'Fall Of The Despised' via their new label, Earache Records on November 7th.Coming straight out of Holland with blood and guts dripping down their chins, Severe Torture have become one of the best loved underground death metal bands of all in recent years.Finding a new record deal was obviously very important to us.Actually, we were very surprised by the response we got for those albums.Earache can achieve for us.Dan Tobin contacted me to say that he liked Severe Torture and nothing more.But then that thing started to not be so good for us.We did that and then Earache were the first label that we contacted and tried to get signed to.Did you grow up listening to all the old Earache classics?Has being a Dutch band been problematic?Does that ever bother you?The first reaction we got from everybody about the album was that it was like Cannibal Corpse.They could hear our own style in there.We even wrote a song without a blast beat.It shows more the different sides of Severe Torture.To be honest, we like the new one more.Severe Torture stand out from the crowd?We jumped right on and we were ready for the big wave, so a lot of people know us already.How did they go down with the fans?We always combined that a little bit.Earache Records is proud to welcome Dutch Death Metal act Severe Torture to the roster as
