| Streetlight Manifesto is an American ska punk band from East Brunswick Township, New Jersey.The band has achieved wide acclaim in alternative circles, and combines elements of third wave ska with a vast array of influences that distinguish Streetlight from its contemporaries.Several of Streetlight Manifesto's members were well known in the New Jersey third wave ska community for their roles in past ska punk bands from that area, primarily Kalnoky's Catch 22 and fellow New Jersey band One Cool Guy.More lineup changes and continued touring

5.Included on the five track, independently released CD is "Here's to Life", a song which Streetlight Manifesto reworked and included on Everything Goes Numb, and a new version of Catch 22's "Dear Sergio", which includes a new verse and a minor renaming to "Dear Sergio:".After the demo was recorded Stuart Karmatz left and was replaced by Paul Lowndes and Jim Conti took the place of Pete Sibilia.Everything Goes Numb, but changed again before the band could perform any live shows.Paul Lowndes left so Chris Thatcher joined the band as his replacement, and has been with Streetlight ever since.Upon its release in 2003, it received various positive reviews and numerous comparisons to Keasbey.Streetlight's largely positive welcome when they appeared on the music scene despite little to no promotion or advertising has been attributed to the legacies of the bands from which it evolved (notably Catch 22 and One Cool Guy), and their reputation for strong live performances led to a fanbase that rapidly expanded.Chris Paszik performed in his place.The concert, held at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, is notable for being the first live performance of the BOTAR version of Catch 22's song "Dear Sergio:".The next departure was Jamie Egan, who left on January 22, 2005; 3,519,853 plays scrobbled on Last.Though the band have enjoyed no mainstream commercial success, they have received acclaim in alternative music circles, and their debut album is currently in Interpunk.Their second album, a reworking of Catch 22's Keasbey Nights was released on March 7, 2006.While I perfer EGN to SitB, the new album's still great, my favorite being OFotG, OFitG, though REoiA is a close second.You could definately call Keasby their's.Now it's not originally their's..I'd have to say their older stuff is better.Keasbey Nights, although not actually theirs, but you could argue it, is my favorite album, EGN coming in second.I'm seeing them the 3th of Feb!TOMORROW, GONNA SEE 'EM..Web Site Support

I loved Keasbey Nights when it was released in 1998.The original Keasbey night was the first ska album I listened to.Hell, it was the CD that got me into ska in the first place.It's wonderful to hear anything new from Streetlight Manifesto, they are by far my favorite ska band ever.Keasbey Nights Is all grown up

This is quite possibly the greatest band ever.Here's the strange thing.The Streetlight Manifesto ska.No, not in the slightest.Tomas is able to perfectly convey everything that happens during the song through the lyrics.It's the fact that through simple to complex metephors and similes, Tomas is able to make one song unique to each person, and not just in terms of what is seen, but also in how you see what is said.However, these song tend to have the most sophisticated brass lines and the lyrics are great enough as they are.All in all, Streetlight is a work of art to me.About the song We Are The Few performed by Streetlight Manifesto
