Syndromeda is Danny Budts from Belgium.Hulshof) and Syndromeda (aka Danny Budts).Twitters and half heard 'on the edge of a dream' vocal effects mix to give 'Ballad of Love and Mystery' a rather ominous atmospheric beginning. One of the sequences develops a sort of Dr Who theme tune quality as the pace slowly starts to quicken.Breathy' melodies are added, taking things to even greater heights. This album comes close on the heals of 'Metaphysical Experiences' but even though it is quite recognisable as Syndromeda the realization of the project came together in a very different manner.Danny Budts, the man who is Syndromeda, was asked if his music could be used as part of an artist exhibition celebrating the 850th anniversary of Ekeren, the village in Belgium where he lives.Syndromeda is Danny Budts from Belgium. He can switch from powerful sonic blasts one minute to subtle soundscpaes the next.String pads and electronics combine together exquisitely but then in the second minute a ballsy bass sequence rumbles forward and the mood changes instantly to one of a tense excitement.Little melodies start to form as this already awesome track gets better and better.Syndromeda just get better and better with each album. So has Danny Budts been able to keep up the standard?Though this time, as the title suggests, we are in more cosmic realms there are still sequences and dynamism aplenty.Holland (and there were over thirty of them).Sure it is in yer face, crank the volume up all the way, rip roaring stuff but what is so amazing is the quality of the...Syndromeda aka Danny Budts. Then comes an absolutely stunning, take no prisoners, sequence with a whole host of cosmic effects hitting you between the eyes. The sequence builds and shifts and another simple but captivating sequence plays over the top.Whereas not sounding exactly like RMI, AirSculpture, Redshift etc it should appeal to people who enjoy that style of music. The second part is faster and much more sequential with sonic splashes and suitably cosmic embellishments. This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted.Syndromeda is Belgian synthesist Danny Budts.Combining grandiose electronics with monumental percussion, his music possesses epic dimensions that are consistently appealing and gripping.Although the last track, "Too Hot for Hell", does descend into a darkness that sears with ominous augurs, the end result is one of liberation from this dire heat.Growling diodes conspire with demonstrative keyboards to create melodies that persist in increasing in scope with each successive passage. The music on this release explores a more lighthearted sampling of Syndromeda's sonic stylings, which peppy rhythms and jovial tuneage.Keyboards create slippery riffs that wind and turn with inventive determination.Shrill tones share the air with deeper resonances, establishing an evenly tempered blend that leaves no senses undazzled. It is exclusively available as a free download when you place an order with Synth Music Direct the EM mail order company that operates in conjunction with the Neu Harmony label.Syndromeda (an anagram of "the synthesizer syndrome of Andromeda") is the Belgian electronic composer Danny Budts. But Syndromeda's brand of "inspiration" is not soft and introspective, but rather full of vigor and cosmic ecstasy, urging the audience to expand their intellect through communion with grand riffs and majestic melodies. At times, Syndromeda's music can be exhausting with its relentless fervor and constantly ascendant crescendos, not unlike the euphoria derived after strenuous physical exercise. With notes that resound like the calls of cosmic trumpets, this entry point to Syndromeda's music evokes grandeur and power on a triumphant scale. The music is tireless as it speeds to its satisfying crescendo, pausing only briefly before launching into the next song to repeat the process, stimulating yet another portion of the cerebellum with its magnificent sonic agitation.Whether examining the predilection to seek out and conquer the unknown or the subconscious context of dreams, this music is rich with the promise of untapped latent talent lurking in everyone's mind.Acquiescent atmospheric passages coexist with dynamic eruptions, conspiring to unify these contrasting moods into a richly compelling sonic presence.Luxuriating in positive overtones, the CD finishes with a short track (7 minutes is short for Syndromeda) that examines the cooperation of nature and humanity, working together in harmony to create a better environment for all.The 74 minutes of dynamic electronics on this 1998 CD takes Budts' music on a quest to understand the divine powers that imbue matter with life and purpose.Taking cues from the subject matter, this music achieves a remarkable intensity, honing previous talents to a state of exhausting power.Having investigated intelligence and the powers that maintain existence, Budts turns his sonic analysis to the quantum mysteries that dwell in the universe beyond our atmosphere. With the music on this CD, Budts enhances his already masterful range with a more prominent presence of synthesized percussion, adding dynamic propulsion to his uncompromising pinnacles and driving pace. The result modifies Syndromeda's sound with delightful consequences. The first track ("Beyond Dimensions") clocks in at 24 minutes, an epic of thrilling status that conveys the audience through dimensional barriers with the ease of an incandescent blade slicing through rarefied air.The cycles unfold with relentless fervor, always evolving before the repetitions become tedious.Plunging through peak after peak, the synthesizers unlock quantum boundaries with harmonic ease. After two very tasty tracks of moderate duration (9 minutes are moderate lengths for Syndromeda), Budts dumps the audience into the proximity of a wildly active black hole, for "The Sky Is Open", another momentous composition of 19 minutes. Here, with the known universe at one's back and facing the prospect of enigmatic potential, vast vistas are revealed with a demonstrative melody that marks a significant high for Budts' euphonious exploits. This time, Budts explores the possibilities of uniting terrestrial life with extraterrestrial agencies. He does not view this phenomena as threatening, concentrating on the positive potential of such interstellar interaction. From the outset, this music displays an intensity and command with dense loops counterparted with cosmic sounds.Syndromeda has a distinctive and entertaining way of fusing atmospheric tones with dramatic electronics.Compositionally, the music is quite striking. The substantial atmospherics grab the listener's attention, priming the audience for the vigorous sonic voyage ahead. The outcome of this union is thrilling and dazzling. This release offers 71 minutes recorded live at the Jodrell Bank Planetarium in England on May 5, 2001.It begins with ominous tones, growling out of the empty darkness, buffeted by the stellar wind that surges relentlessly between stars. The keyboards begin to delineate patterns, harmonious and full of tense anticipation. If this is only the first ten minutes, what wonderment lies ahead? There are realms where earth and the cosmos meet, and you'll hear Syndromeda's compositions playing there.Syndromeda is Danny Budts. This album comes close on the heals of 'Metaphysical Experiences' but even though it is quite recognizable as Syndromeda the realization of the project came together in a very different manner.Danny Budts, the man who is Syndromeda, was asked if his music could be used as part of an artist exhibition celebrating the 850th anniversary of Ekeren, the village in Belgium where he lives. He composed a completely fresh series of works, the music you have here, inspired by a nature reserve in the village where the exhibition was to be mainly based.Morning Orchids' starts with a beautiful, gentle piano solo.Thunderous Earth' is a short very syncopated number which takes us to 'Listen to the Trees'.The Voice of the Land' begins with lovely melancholy cello around which lick little electronic effects. There is an uneasy edginess to it all.Welcome to Paradise' carries on in a similar mood.We finish with 'A New Breath' which is apparently based on 'Stabat Mater' from Vivaldi. As you might have guessed this recording is a joint effort between Syndromeda and CHAOS.Syndromeda album 'The Alien Abduction Phenomenon'.We get a really nice floating, cosmic beginning to 'Huizen Express'.Another sequence is added and we start to motor again.Skudicism' starts with faint tinkling effects over which we get Gregorian Chants.Banzai' rounds the album off.If you can't see the information strip to the left of the screen then click on the smd logo above. The latest CD is out on the Groove label and entitled: Birth Of A Black Hole.Conveyed through his music, Syndromeda's vision is shared by the engrossed listener. The music is quite active and tightly arranged, changing tempo, moving chords and focusing on melody throughout to keep the listener involved and imagining different urgent scenarios.
