Life Was Real.Top 65 Albums, 12 EPs, and 10 Splits of 2007!Jokes that much the first time i heard it, but over the months it's turned into one of my favourite records in a while.The balance of instrumental pieces and vocals is absolutely spot on.Well Basura for brains, as a matter of fact, The Kidcrash are actually incredible and you really should look into either the Jokes LP or the Arse Moriera split.US distro for a pretty good price.The only other place to get the records is directly from the label.That's sad, I think it's a great album.You guys used to sound different, as in...Great instrumentals, vocals a little meh, but bearable.Now your music sounds exactly the same as stuff I find on 4 or 5 different radio stations.I'm listening to it now and I love it.It's definitely way different than how they sound now though, haha.They're probably my favorite band right now.CD sounds a lot a different than their two latest releases, though...Yay for the Kidcrash.Welcome to the kidcrash site(you're sure swell for coming).Join The Kidcrash mailing list!Full ReviewUser Opinions (1)Give Your OpinionTracklist:1.Life Was Real, Vital, Urgent, Important

9.Choirs of the EyeGodspeed You!Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas ToGodspeed You!Oh wait the drummer kills.Slint swiping groups like Maximillian Colby.The production and mixing on this album seem very unattractive in assisting the brilliant sounds the band is creating.Dream the complete amateur sound of the record helped the band create extremely dense, depressing technical pieces.Sure, some of the songs on the album can get a little stale due to the seemingly lack of dynamics but this is just a minor gripe as most of the material on this album is brilliant.Due to the lacking of crescendo based cathartic releases the album is given in my opinion a more beneficial replay value because every song has various trigger moments that are extremely enjoyable.Sound OffI don't agree with the dynamics stuff.And I don't care what you say they certainly lack the power of dynamic bands.It just seems they are clearly not striving to create these epic crescendos and such and are instead just creating these plodding sections that fold in and out on each other.Kinda reminds me of Dowsing in that respect.That's a really good way to think of the music and is a pretty admirable trait in its own way.I'm not sure what I would rate this but it's a great album.Got back from vacation and yay, and interesting album!Sound OffHere's the link if you all wanna check it out: tinyurl.Yeah, this is really, really good.This Message Edited On 07.You all honestly listen to some pretty ****ing gay ****.It seems that causes most of the distortion.Unless something comes along and blows this out of the water this will probably be my album of the year.Definitely up there with Tartar Lamb Shels Coco Rosie and Battles.Just a fantastic fantastic blend of everything I love in hardcore.Sound OffLet's talk more about this album.You have to be logged in to post a comment.Although right now listening parties are chosen by the moderators, they will eventually be chosen by the users based on participation.Streetlight Manifesto, Dillinger Escape Plan, Fucked Up, Saves the Day, Crime In Stereo, The Flatliners, The Casualties, Shipwreck a.These guys rule and stuff.Don't listen to the second two tracks.Aficianado, they're just straight up worse songs.Metallicaman you're growing into a big boy now.I've listened to the two songs from Jokes a few times now and I'm not feeling it.This was a Jared hype not a DFelon hype.It was more of a double team.And the last two tracks aren't bad either.This Message Edited On 08.Although I would like to get my hands on Jokes. |
