today!See all 14 customer reviews...Computers Electronics Cell Phones And Way More Buy Now!No one has tagged this product for Amazon search yet.See all 405 customer reviews...This disc remeinds me a lot of Converge's "Petioning the Empty Sky" as the band sounds very fragile and vunerable well unleashing out a crushing sound much like Converge did.They also have added new elements to their sound as they have grown as a band, and have become more better song writers as well.The guitar work on this cd is a lot different from their last as it sounds a lot different tone wise, plus a lot more solo work is involved, showcasing Alex's great skill.The only thing that doesn't seem to jump out as much on this release is their dual vocalist attack, other than that, this is definetly one of the best underground releases of the year.Was this review helpful to you?One key problem with the cd is that the levels are really low and you need to turn it up to hear it well (something they could have easily fixed in mixing, which sucks).Overall, this CD shows a clearly matured band over their previous cd ( which is also good, but really short).Was this review helpful to you?The Number Twelve Looks Like You, hailing from New Jersey puts together a masterpiece of music.Put on your rosy red glasses 2nd.The Number Twelve Looks Like A Rock

Y!Taking their name (slightly altered) from a particularly dark, dystopian 1964 episode of The Twilight Zone, the Number Twelve Looks Like You plays a particularly dark and dystopian form of screamo that incorporates elements not only ...Forming in the New York City suburbs of Bergen County, NJ, in 2001 (initially under the name And Ever), the initial lineup of the Number Twelve Looks Like You was singers Jesse Korman and Justin Pedrick, guitarists Alexis Pareja and Jamie McIlroy, bassist Michael "Smoogs" Smagula, and drummer Christopher "Chree" Conger.Following the release of that album, Smagula left the Number Twelve Looks Like You to focus on his own band, Batter Up; he was replaced by Chris Russell.Create a configuration object and add the keywords to the conf. |
