was a band who were popular in the 1980's.The band named their band after The Power Station recording studio where they recorded their album.The group was signed with Capitol Records and started to record an album.They performed on the television show, Saturday Night Live, and sang, Some Like It Hot, and Bang A Gong.In 1985 they released the album called, Power Station, and is sometimes referred to as Power Station 33.From the album came three singles and they were all three hits.The first two, Some Like It Hot (reached number 14 on the charts in the U.Billboard Hot 100 chart), and Bang A Gong Get It On (reached number 2 in the U.The Power Station Video EP.United States and also Robert Palmer decided to record a solo album.This led to his leaving the band.His solo album was very successful and was called, Riptide.They also performed at the Live Aid Charity Concert in Philadelphia in 1985.The band made a guest appearance on the TV show, Miami Vice, because Des Barres was friends with Don Johnson.The band split up in 1985and the members went on to other projects.The band has released 4 albums and 4 singles.The Power Station allows you to charge your cell phones and small electronics without all of the clutter associated with charger cords.The hidden power strip enables you to plug in 3 devices for charging all at once.We are in constant progression to improve our users experience on our web site, and your input is greatly valued.Fast shipping within two business days.How do I build a great home theater system?The text was not found
