Check out our new tour dates.We've got April '05 dates up.New website in the works.With 2005 comes many good things, including a new website for us, which is in development.Not that we never actually read MAGNET but we have seen it on several friends' coffee tables and it looks very nice and shiny.Also, because of the voluminous amount of writers participating, it means a lot to place really anywhere on it, and so a special thanks to anyone who voted for us (Robert Christgau, Corey Dubrowa, Sean Howe, Beth Wawerna et al).Also, Robert Christgau very flatteringly included us in a larger story on indie rock and gave the album an A in his Consumer Guide back in January.John Luerresen at Rolling Stone; the wonderful folks at KEXP; the equally wonderful folks at neumu.Five Mod Four split CDEP is out now.It contains 3 unreleased songs by the Wrens, and 4 by the Five Mod Four.You can order it at www.Note: most of these CDs were lost in a fire at No Karma HQ, so there aren't very many left!More info will be posted on the web site in the coming weeks...Web page by Five Mod Four.The Wrens are an indie rock band that formed in the late 1980s in New Jersey.The group consists of Charles Bissell, Greg Whelan, Kevin Whelan, and Jerry MacDonald.Their debut album Silver was released in 1994.The band was plagued by label problems throughout the rest of the 1990s, leaving them unable to release an album for many years after Secaucus in 1996.The Wrens are currently being filmed for a documentary by the production company Little Quill.History

It took them long enough, but The Wrens were able to follow up their brilliant effort, Secaucus, with a CD that was even better.Life is hard but lovingthis album is not
