| This week brings an
end to 2007 and a year we'll never forget, unfortunately for all the
wrong reasons.Whilst
we still feel very sad it's important to remember just how lucky
we all are and think of people who are in a far worse position than
ourselves.We would also like to
send our love and best wishes to all you
TIGERTAILZ friends and families across the world.Here's hoping you all have a great Xmas and New Year...We
plan to issue a clear statement in the new year on how TIGERTAILZ will
continue to function.But
enjoy your Xmas turkey knowing we will return in 2008...!!!!!We are absolutely
devastated to bring you the news that our beloved friend and Tigertailz
Bass player PEPSI TATE lost his battle with pancreatic cancer
today.Pepsi passed away peacefully at 10:30 this morning,
Tuesday 18th September 2007, in Holme Towers cancer hospice in Penarth
Cardiff.Words

express our sincere thanks to everyone who came out to see us on this
UK tour over the last few weeks.Not only did many of you travel for the shows but some travelled many
times to different shows just to be there.We
also managed to raise a load of money for Marie
Curie Cancer Care which we will donate in the coming weeks.All
of this was down to you great people giving money to those who need it
most.You can all sleep well knowing you've done your bit..But one thing we do know is that all you great people have
given us a reason to not let this band and Pepsi's memory fade away.Pepsi
was working on the 'BLAST' DVD right up until he passed away in
September.In support of their new album

say we had a fantastic time playing the Wildside Festival last
Saturday.It was really great to see so many long lost friends

years of legal action we are pleased to let everyone know that the
dispute involving the TIGERTAILZ name is now finally over!Most
of you know there has been a dispute with former members of the band
regarding ownership of the TIGERTAILZ name.TIGERTAILZ name as a Trademark in 2004 without our
knowledge.Patent Hearing Officer upheld
our opposition to the registration of the TIGERTAILZ name.The TIGERTAILZ name belongs to us!Click here if you

cats and imitations of imitations, Tigertailz stood out like a sore,
bloody, thumb.Tigertailz are a glam metal band hailing from Cardiff, Wales.Bezerk' which was eventually released to great critical acclaim in 1990 on the Music For Nations label.Livin Without You with Hooker and released it as a single.Due to a series of deals gone wrong and the onset of grunge, Tigertailz were effectively on ice for many years.Touring proved successful but there was insufficient long term record company interest to sustain the band.City Kidds drummer Matt Blakout who replaced Ace Finchum.Tigertailz, a band that in no way represented the classic Bezerk era.This problem resolved, the real Tigertailz were able to work on the long awaited Bezerk 2.This release is in fact a double CD packaged with the original 1992 version of the Wazbones album that was never officially How to...Steve Pearce stepped in, recording the Shoot To Kill Demo.It was 1987 when Tigertailz signed to the rock specialists Music For Nations, who at the time had Metallica, Poison and Stryper.They then went elsewhere to record what would become Bezerk, their most successful album.In 1991, with grunge gaining steam and the alternative rapidly becoming the mainstream, Tigertailz sacked Finchum.Their third album, Wazbones, took years to complete.Tigertailz never did a Motley Crue and went grunge.They stuck to their guns and were honest in their musical quest to bring glam, sleaze, pop and, yes, cheese to British hard rock.Meanwhile, Jay Pepper, Pepsi Tate, Matt Blackout and Kim Hooker continue to tour as Tigertailz.In 2006, Tigertailz released Bezerk 2.Taylorz from Wales

Bezerk 2.Rock in Wales
A celebration of Bullet, Funeral, Prophets and the rest.Tigertailz sono un gruppo glam metal formato nel 1983 a Cardiff, Galles.Poco dopo decisero di cambiare nome in Tigertailz.Shoot To Kill nel 1986 con una prima versione del brano Living Without You con Steve Pearce alla batteria.Nel 1987 producono l'EP Shoot To Kill, sguirono date in Gran Bretagna e anche alcune in Olanda e Germania."Young and Crazy", da questo fu estratto il singolo "Livin Without You".Il successo
Nel 1990 esce "Bezerk", riconosciuto come il migliore del gruppo.Dato il grande successo dell'album, parteciparono tour in Inghilterra e in Europa e verso la fine dell'anno al fianco degli UFO in occasione di un party organizzato dal giornale Metal Hammer all'Astoria di Londra.Nel 1991 seguirono altri tour europei con i Lizzy Borden ed un tour britannico con i Blue Bludd, poi la band sciolse il contratto con la Music For Nations per firmare con la Sony.Tornarono sotto il nome di Tigertailz nel 1994 con il nuovo batterista Greg Haber, ed avendo ottenuto i diritti per l'album.Il primo show dei Tigertailz del 1994 vedeva Simon Donahugh al posto di Jay Pepper.Quindi il gruppo intraprese un tour britannico nel primo 1995 di supporto ai Tyketto.Finchum per la recluta di nuovi membri mentre venne pubblicata la raccolta dei Tigertailz Original Sin nel 2003.Tigertailz debuttarono a Nottingham al fianco degli Enuff Z'nuff il 24 agosto."King Of The World" per la compilation della Perris Records Hollywood Hairspray III del 2004.Da questo periodo Jaimz, Finchum e Russell vennero raggiunti dai due nuovi chitarrista Darayus "Dee Zee" Kaye (ex Tattooed Love Boys, The Unloved) e Marcus Thurston (ex Strangefire, Siam).In contemporanea sorse un'altra versione dei Tigertailz composta dal vocalist Kim Hooker, il chitarrista Jay Pepper ed il bassista Pepsi Tate assieme al nuovo batterista Michael Hourihan.Tigertailz di Hooker arruolarono il nuovo batterista Matt Blackout, e supportarono i Brides of Destruction in Germania.Demolition Records nel gennaio 2006.In marzo i Tigertailz firmano per la Sanctuary Records per l'uscita del nuovo album Thrill Pistol.Studio
