Norfolk, Virginia, U.Mosley (born March 10, 1971) better known by his stage name Timbaland, is an American musical composer, record producer, singer, and rapper.Timbaland has been considered similar to producers such as Brian Eno, Phil Spector, Norman Whitfield and Dr.The songs he produces feature unorthodox arrangements, sounds, and instrumentation, tied together by a trademark sense of space and rhythm.Casio keyboard he owned.Timbaland had a relationship with Aaliyah in the year 1994.Timbaland still had a strong friendship with Aaliyah after their relationship.Timbaland was also friends their albums during this period, and also made two albums of his own: one with Magoo, and one solo album.Elliott, Magoo, or his younger brother Garland Mosley (AKA Sebastian), were almost always On February 2, 2007, Timbaland responded to the plagiarism accusations in an interview by the radio show Elliot in the Morning.In this interview, Timbaland admits to what he calls "sampling", but he also claims that sampling is "not stealing", because "everybody samples from everybody every day".Timbaland also says that the sample is "from a video game" and mentions the Commodore 64.He also says that he has no time for research and that it is sometimes impossible to "know what's public domain and what's not."Timbaland also calls the issue "ridiculous" but mentions that he is "in legal discussions" and therefore can't say much about it.On February 9, 2007, Timbaland commented on the issue as follows in an MTV interview:
