Gibson was born in Watts, Los Angeles, California, where he attended Locke High School.Tyrese sang background vocals in Tupac's "Never Call You Bitch Again".In 2007, Tyrese decided that he would like to be an independent recording artist and got out his contract with J Records.However, he is being heavily approached by numerous different record labels.Gibson was picked as one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men of the Year in 2000.He is quoted in saying "With all the support our fans have given us individually over the years for our distinct signature styles, collectively we felt our fans deserved to hear great music in a way that they could never have imagined.I've known these guys for years and they truly are like brothers, so it only felt right to come together as a trio to make history".They also plan an international tour entitled "The Shirts Off Tour" which is set to start in February 2008.Fear of owls
During a 2003 appearance on the New Tom Green Show it was revealed that Tyrese has an immense fear of owls.On the show Tyrese confessed that he has such a fear of owls that looking at a picture would make him freak out.Knowing this, Tom Green began to draw a picture of an owl causing Tyrese to go into a panic and threaten to leave the stage.Personal life

a9AdsViewNamespace.My brother told me that Tyrese had a new album long before I knew about it.If that sounds harsh, it's actually pretty accurate.But the sad thing is, the singing disc really isn't all that.It's a slim ten tracks, but there still really are no standouts.It's the same story with Tyrese: he's got one hell of a voice, but his lyrics are just terrible (Ruben Studdard would later follow in his footsteps, but I digress)."Turn Ya Out" are okay, but they're no classics.Tyrese's rap during the third verse of "Nobody Else" told me point blank that he was clearly not a rapper, and this disc further proves that.Dre's beat from Eve's "Let Me Blow Ya Mind"."Fly Away" is a dumb track that showcases Ty and Kurupt giving encouraging words about their respective rap careers over a conference call.Tyrese, other than he STILL needs to get some serious writers."Thanks for the valuable feedback you provided to other Amazon.Tyrese is a predominant force within much of pop culture today.Most important in my mind is his albums, in which Tyrese possesses one of the best voices I've ever heard.ALTER EGO Tyrese's vocals are unfaltered by some uninspired material and Tyrese's bomb at trying to being an MC, even though he claims he was "rapping" before he started singing.Still, ALTER EGO does have some of Tyrese's strongest material, despite most of it being underwhelmed by the mediocre and poor material.It is for me one of Tyrese's best tracks ever.The production is very urban sounding which suits Tyrese's soulful voice very well.The background vocals are well mixed within the production and provide ample support to Tyrese's lead.The vocals aerobics and nuances by Tyrese are great here and he never oversings nor does he undersing.Tyrese sounds at his very best here and the chorus, though kind of rediculous ultimately, is catchy enough.Lil' Jon) isn't incredibly innovative or anything that we haven't seen, but it is the third straight hit from ALTER EGO."Come Back To Me Shawty" keeps the momentum at an all time high rivaling "One" as the strongest track from ALTER EGO."Better To Know" and "Gotta Get You" are both above average, but do fall a bit into the "urban" cliche too much.Kelly but ends up being overproduced and bland, and "Better Than Sex" does nothing for the nose dive of the first disc.Worst for Tyrese is the fact that the second disc is much, much worse than the first.The first has great potential;
