The name "Xasthur" is a combination of "Xastur" and "Xenaoth".History
Xasthur was created in December 1995, in Alhambra, Calif.Conner had played with several local death metal groups in Southern California.Subsequently, Xasthur became Malefic's solo project, although Khaija "Blood Moon" Ausar (of Dacon and Crimson Moon) appeared as session musician on A Curse for the Lifeless and Xasthur.Swedish Total Holocaust Records and other small underground labels.September 2001) was jointly released by independent record labels Blood Fire Death and Red Stream in 2002.Apart from demo and EP recordings, Xasthur has released several split albums with other black metal acts such as Acid Enema, Nachtmystium, Angra Mainyu, Leviathan, and Nortt.Xasthur has contributed to tribute albums to Ildjarn, Burzum and Judas Iscariot, and appeared on various compilation and it was more in tune with the way I felt and looked at life.There is a lot more of a funeral doom influence in the music I create.Being untraditional is about the only thing that sparks my interest should have found a way.For example, there has never been a need for me to make a song about a fucking goat, and there are different ways to express misery, hatred, evil, emptiness and darkness, but more on a personal level, personal attack and affect.Mirrors are the voices in your head that you thought no one heard, but someone did.Tormenting human beings with mirrors is more fatal than cracking
