On January 23, 2007 Zao announced that Russ Cogdell had rejoined the band after recovering from his knee surgery.He is now the drummer for the band From Autumn to Ashes.Zao stated they will no longer add new members, but Josh Walters, formerly of The Juliana Theory, would perform drums on their records and live shows.Much of the lineup changes stem from the band's new vision, which involves less touring in support of their music.It was also stated that Zao have completed their 2 album deal with Ferret Records.There is no news on whether they intend to resign or seek a new label.Josh Walters left the band shortly after the announcement was made that he was in the band.Zao has also recently addressed Christianity in a blog on their MySpace page and how now all the members are Christian.More recently, Zao has added a new drummer, Dean Minerva, to their lineup.But also has left and now Zao is looking again for a new drummer.The Ties That Bind 7" Split EP
